About the Role
The Antelope Valley Migrant Education Program Consortium seeks a part-time Migrant Education - Transitional Kindergarten School Readiness teacher who will deliver rigorous supplemental instruction to Migrant-eligible students.
Schedule
- 13 Saturdays in Fall 2026 & Spring 2027
- 5 hours per day
- Work Hours: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Requirements
- Credential Required: Authorizing Credential for subject matter, EL Authorized
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience
- Experience in research-based instructional practices that will efficiently support learning
- Deep knowledge of reading, writing, literacy and/or mathematics
- Experience using data to inform instruction
- Culturally responsive practitioner who is committed to eliminating opportunity disparities
