The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a full-time teacher for their educational program. This position is open until filled and applications are accepted weekly.

About the role

This position is available at the Gold River site and is permanent. Candidates must be internal employees to be placed on Column 5; for external candidates, the maximum placement is Column 4/Step 11. Additional pay opportunities include $5,000 - $14,000 annual stipends for hard-to-staff Special Education positions, $2,000 annual stipends for counselor, social worker, and teacher librarian positions, $3,000 annual stipend for advanced degrees, and $1,000 - $4,500 annual stipends for various extra-curricular activities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Valid California teaching credential

Pay

The salary range for fully credentialed staff is $60,000 annually - $126,000/annually. Additional pay opportunities are available based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

The length of the work year for teachers (Elementary / Secondary), middle school, and K-8 counselors/teacher librarians is 10 months/year, 186 days/year, 5 days/week, with a professional work day.
