Location: Tualatin, OR

Pay

$25 - $33 per hour (DOE)

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 5:30am to 2pm & 7:30am to 4pm

About the role

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication duties, including but not limited to using welders, grinders, torches, band saws, shears, punches, and drill press.
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints or drawings.
• Complete required paperwork and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Participate in skills demonstrations to prove welding proficiency.
• Operate forklifts and assist with loading as needed.

Requirements

• 1+ year welding experience.
• Stable work history with previous experience in structural steel fabrication.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods (4+ hours).
• Must be willing to join the Local 516 Union.
• Forklift and/or loading experience preferred.
• AWS D1.1 FCAW certification highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a structural steel fabrication shop.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
