Midstream Business Coordinator

About the Role

This position conducts business performance and compliance reporting for all Midstream Operations departments under general supervision. It involves data sourcing, regulatory reporting, asset management, and analytical support to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Download and source data from multiple software platforms and submit to senior management for weekly review.
  • Assimilate internal records and furnish established regulatory report templates for submittal to applicable state or federal agencies in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer all Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) work orders to ensure scheduling, assignment, completion, and accurate recording; provide EAM training to new employees and contractors.
  • Conduct statistical and correlation analysis reporting on EAM data to define asset failure trends, compression availability, inventories, and other key metrics.
  • Coordinate the Management of Change (MOC) process to verify administrative accuracy of documents, obtain stakeholder approvals, and ensure proper records retention.
  • Analyze and report data utilizing the Midstream Operations Dashboard; identify inaccurate inputs using trends, correlations, and percentage change; track and review data results against forecast and budget expectations.
  • Aid with all regulatory programs related to pipeline safety, including Operations and Maintenance, Operator Qualification, Drug & Alcohol, Public Awareness, and Damage Prevention requirements.
  • Provide daily interaction with various departmental groups for administrative and analytical support, such as process approval documents, data export, trend development, and variance quantification.
  • Perform administrative duties, including file and process approval management and record retention activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least five (5) years of business administration experience.
  • At least one (1) year of experience coordinating Oil & Gas related programs and business processes.

Skills

  • Good understanding of oil & gas business fundamentals, operated assets, and interpretation of reports, programs, and processes.
  • Basic knowledge of industry-related tools and software, including 811 & Operator Qualification, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems, Veriforce, and SpotFire.
  • Working knowledge and fluent use of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Proficient time management and organizational skills; ability to set priorities, develop work schedules, track data, and monitor progress.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in dynamic environments with regular changes, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to complete reports and work effectively with operators, employees, and contractors.

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based with regular use of computers, keyboards, mice, and multi-line telephone systems.
  • Noise level is usually quiet.
  • Requires close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Minimal travel (approximately 5% overnight travel).
  • Occasional on-call responsibilities during weekends and holidays for urgent issues or emergencies.

  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly lift, push, carry, and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Regularly bend, stoop, or crouch.
