About the role

The ideal candidate will have four to six years of experience in transactional tax matters. Preferred candidates will have experience with renewable energy projects and credits, including tax equity and credit transfers, or other energy tax matters. An LL.M. in Taxation is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Experience in drafting and reviewing partnership, joint venture, and limited liability company agreements.
  • Experience with tax aspects of equity and debt financing transactions.
  • Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating tax provisions in merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, and related agreements.

Requirements

Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in one of the following jurisdictions: North Carolina, New York, or District of Columbia.
