About the role
The Middleware Application Administrator will perform product installation and configuration for Middleware components such as WebSphere, ND, WebLogic Liberty, Apache Tomcat, NGINX, HTTP server. They will also integrate end-to-end application components and have experience with SSO, BIGIP, application monitoring, database connectivity in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform product installation and configuration for Middleware components
- Integrate end-to-end application components
- Work with all teams for database, network, and storage support
- Coordinate with teams for BOM discussions, build specs, and technical specifications
- Install and configure Web servers (Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, WAS)
- Configure single sign-on (SSO)
- Handle firewall requests, load balancers, DNS configurations, and SSL setups
- Configure ESM scripts, CyberArk, App Dynamics, BCM exceptions, and RLM onboarding
- Support app teams in configuring databases and messaging queues
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Middleware administration
- Experience with RedHat Unix environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong understanding of middleware technologies and their integration
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining production environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Skills
- Middleware administration (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, etc.)
- Integration skills for end-to-end application components
- SSO and BIGIP expertise
- Application monitoring and database connectivity
- RedHat Unix environment experience
