About the role

We are a dynamic, private in-home and online tutoring company dedicated to providing top-tier educational support across all subjects and for students of all ages. We are currently seeking an experienced middle school tutor specializing in PRE-ALGEBRA.

Responsibilities

• Empower students with academic support based on the Louisiana curriculum.
• Develop customized learning plans that help students truly understand the material, not just memorize it.
• Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to help students who need extra support or a challenge to stretch them further.
• Collaborate with parents to keep them in the loop on progress, struggles, and successes.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid registration with the New Orleans Department of Education.
• Be a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• Be a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education.
• Have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
