About the role
We are seeking a middle school math tutor to provide academic support and tailor lessons to individual student needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide academic support based on expertise and knowledge of the state curriculum
- Offer supplemental assignments to enhance student understanding
- Offer remedial and enrichment support for students
- Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress
- Implement a customized approach tailored to each student's needs
Qualifications and Skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching

- Able to cater to a large range of learning styles
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree
- At least one of the following criteria:
- You hold a valid state teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof
- You are a current student teacher; pursuing a teaching certificate
- You have 2 or more years experience as a classroom teacher in a private or charter school
- You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College
- You are a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College
