About the role
Teach curriculum of Independent School District 196. Carry out responsibilities as defined by the master contract and by the principal. Maintain good communication and cooperation with staff and parents. Reports to the Building Principal. District 196 serves over 29,000 students across 20 elementary, six middle, four high schools, plus specialized programs, and employs more than 4,000 staff.
Qualifications
- Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach K‑12 instrumental music.
- Strong general academic background.
- Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
