Middle School ICT Teacher

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional services to students with IEPs in reading, mathematics, and writing
• Deliver instruction as per student's IEP
• Collaborate with school personnel to coordinate student service efforts
• Communicate progress with parents and engage in parent conferences
• Manage a professional classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
• Support preparation for the NYS State Exam for students
• Work with peers to create a diverse curriculum that meets individual student needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; Masters degree preferred
• K-12 lead teaching experience in a classroom setting is advantageous
• Experience in urban, public charter, or Title I schools is beneficial
• Hold NY teacher certification or actively working towards certification
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary
• Legally authorized to work in the USA is required
• Commitment to high academic standards and belief that all students can learn is essential
