Middle School – High School AEC Teacher

Duties

• Plans a program of study that positively impacts student behavior and addresses academic needs.
• Affirms the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of a Student Service Plan for each student.
• Plans instruction that motivates students, with emphasis on their needs, interests, and abilities.
• Employs a variety of instructional techniques and tools consistent with the needs and abilities of the students.
• Encourages students to take responsibility for their actions.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and timely records as required by the Principal.
• Makes provisions to be available to students and parents/guardians beyond the school day when needed.
• Collaborates with social service agencies and the court system to coordinate efforts related to the Student Service Plan.

Pay

Salary range: $42,000–$63,654, based on experience.

Schedule

Work Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
