Middle School English/History Teacher

About the role

Cumberland Christian School is seeking a full-time middle school English/history teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position includes teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade English, 7th grade geography, and serving as a middle school homeroom teacher.

Responsibilities

• Teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade English
• Teach 7th grade geography
• Serve as a middle school homeroom teacher

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience teaching and/or working with middle schoolers is strongly encouraged
• Willingness to obtain ACSI certification or state certification after the first year
