Middle Market Banker II

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Middle Market Banker II to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will focus on building and managing middle market client relationships, with an emphasis on supporting companies that have substantial borrowing needs. The banker will help drive client acquisition and retention, deepen relationships through thoughtful financial insight, and support fee-based revenue growth. This position also plays a key role in credit analysis, portfolio oversight, and adherence to risk and operational standards. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted marketing plan to support client acquisition and retention
• Analyze financial statements and contribute to the credit decision-making process
• Proactively manage client relationships and identify financial needs
• Drive fee-based revenue opportunities in the middle market segment
• Maintain expertise in complex credit products and relationship management
• Ensure compliance with risk and operational policies for client portfolios
• Leverage sales process and financial insights to enhance client interactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and training
• 10+ years of experience in commercial banking
• Strong interpersonal skills for managing client relationships with substantial borrowing needs
• Proficiency in corporate finance and various non-credit services
• Ability to analyze complex credit situations effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Pay

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually
