We are a high-frequency trading (HFT) company solving complex technological challenges at micro- and nanosecond speeds. Our custom infrastructure combines FPGA, cloud, and physical servers worldwide, directly impacting the company’s PnL. Stability and speed are critical, as we manage hundreds of thousands of message-broker topics and hundreds of terabytes of datasets.
About the role
We are seeking a Middle DevOps Engineer to maintain and support our physical and cloud infrastructure. You will work on a wide range of tasks, including performance tuning for high-load systems, as our infrastructure constantly evolves with market changes.
Responsibilities
- Support and develop geographically distributed compute clusters with thousands of CPU cores
- Maintain and enhance our physical and cloud infrastructure
- Work with non-trivial provisioning and deployment architectures using Terraform, Pulumi, and Ansible
- Operate monitoring systems handling hundreds of megabits per second of metrics
- Optimize high-load compute clusters
- Manage Linux/FreeBSD server administration
Requirements
- Experience building networks in cloud providers (preferably AWS)
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform
- Proficiency in Linux server administration
- Knowledge of IP networking principles
