Midas - Automotive Store Managers

About the role

Automotive Store Managers are responsible for the management of a retail store location and ensuring maximum profitability by driving sales, monitoring inventory and expenses, managing personnel and controlling operating costs. In addition to implementing and managing sales programs, Store Managers direct the work of technicians and mechanics to ensure the timely and safe completion of high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance. To advance Midas's sales initiatives, Store Managers communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance and ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and monitor inventory and expenses
• Manage personnel and control operating costs
• Implement and manage sales programs
• Direct the work of technicians and mechanics to ensure timely and safe completion of vehicle repair and maintenance
• Communicate with customers, assess needs, provide information on repairs and maintenance, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Track personal success through Midas's revolutionary digital dashboard

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in retail store management, or a relevant combination of education, training and experience
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds
• Dependable, team-oriented mindset with a focus on providing quality service in a fast-paced environment
