Midas - Automotive Assistant & Service Managers

About the role

We are seeking full-time Assistant & Service Managers for our state-of-the-art service, repair, and tire center in Dayton, OH. Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to ensure efficient, safe, and effective operations at Midas retail locations.
• Enforce established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Schedule mechanics/technicians work.
• Manage outside orders.
• Ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs.
• Meet customer expectations and ensure the safety of team members.
• Assist customers with tire selections and recommend necessary under-car repair services.
• Direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians.
• Stage vehicle repair/maintenance work.
• Drive sales initiatives of Midas.
• Communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, ensure customer satisfaction, and strive to meet customer expectations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds.
• You value dependability, teamwork, and providing quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience: At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
