Midas - Automotive Assistant & Service Managers

About the role

We are currently seeking full-time Assistant & Service Managers for our state-of-the-art service, repair, and tire center in Toledo, OH.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager to ensure efficient, safe, and effective operations at Midas retail locations.
• Enforces established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Schedules mechanics/technicians work.
• Manages outside orders.
• Ensures the quality and timely completion of jobs.
• Maintains customer expectations and safety of team members.
• Assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under-car repair services.
• Directs the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians.
• Stages vehicle repair/maintenance work.
• Communicates directly with customers, assesses needs, provides information on repairs and maintenance, ensures customer satisfaction, and meets customer expectations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds.
• Dependable, team-oriented mindset focused on quality service in a fast-paced environment.
