About the role
We are currently seeking full-time Assistant & Service Managers for our state-of-the-art service, repair, and tire center in Pittsburgh, PA.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Store Manager to ensure efficient, safe, and effective operations at Midas retail locations.
- Enforces established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Schedules mechanics/technicians work.
- Manages outside orders.
- Ensures the quality and timely completion of jobs.
- Maintains customer expectations and safety of team members.
- Assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under-car repair services.
- Directs the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians.
- Stages vehicle repair/maintenance work.
- Drives sales initiatives of Midas.
- Communicates directly with customers, assesses customer needs, provides information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, ensures customer satisfaction, and strives to meet customer expectations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing quality service in a fast-paced environment.
