About the role
Join the team behind some of the UK’s most characterful hotel interiors. At THE PIG, our spaces are more than just beautiful - they tell a story. Layered, collected, and effortlessly comfortable, each property reflects its surroundings, heritage, and personality. We’re now looking for a Mid-Weight Interior Designer to help shape and evolve that story across our growing portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our Lead Interior Architect and Lead Interior Designer, you’ll play a key role in bringing our interiors to life - from concept through to installation.
- Develop interior concepts, FF&E schemes and material palettes across new openings and refurbishments
- Source furniture, lighting, fabrics, artwork and accessories that align with THE PIG aesthetic
- Hunt down antique, vintage and bespoke pieces to create truly individual spaces
- Produce mood boards, presentations, layouts and detailed FF&E schedules
- Cook up finishes, fabrics and detailing to maintain a consistent brand feel
- Support project delivery by liaising with suppliers, contractors and site teams
- Attend site visits, installations and design reviews
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, makers and craftspeople
- Support budget management without compromising on design integrity
- Collaborate closely with design, procurement and operational teams
Requirements
- You’ll be a creative, hands-on designer who thrives on detail and storytelling through interiors.
- 3–6 years’ experience in interior design (hospitality or high-end residential preferred)
- Strong knowledge of FF&E sourcing, specification and procurement
- Confident creating presentations, schedules and technical documentation
- Solid understanding of materials, finishes, furniture and fabrics
- Proficient in InDesign, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (SketchUp beneficial)
- Solid organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience working alongside architects, contractors and consultants

Pay
£35,000 - £40,000 DOE
Schedule
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
