Mid-Market Sales Executive

Modernize (a QuinStreet division) is seeking sharp, motivated individuals to join our growing team. We operate in a dynamic startup environment where technology is used to solve problems. Our open floor plan encourages team participation in critical discussions, and our newly renovated downtown office offers a view of the capital and skyline.

Responsibilities

• Prospect into home remodeling companies with annual revenue between $10M–$30M.
• Sell to contractors, including running a financial proforma during video conferences with C-level executives.
• Perform deep discovery to assess prospect business strengths, weaknesses, and goals.
• Leverage industry knowledge and personalized insights to stand out among competitors.
• Use tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Zoom, Tableau, Oracle Eloqua, Excel, and LinkedIn.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a consultative sales environment.
• 1+ years of outbound prospecting experience making B2B cold calls.
• 1+ years of experience closing five-figure business ($10k/month+).
• Expertise in adding value throughout the sales cycle.
• In-depth understanding of ROI concepts.
• Strong expectation setting and rapport-building skills.
• Active listener, persistent, and scrappy with a "whatever-it-takes" attitude.
• Collaborative, agile, competitive, and coachable.
• Proven history of exceeding sales quotas and objectives.
• Focus on quality and performance; does the right things the right way.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable handling difficult conversations.
• Growth mindset with a commitment to improving sales acumen and embracing feedback.

Pay

The expected base salary range for this position is $60,000 USD to $70,000 USD annually. The base salary may be adjusted based on geographic location. The position is also eligible for performance bonuses or commissions and equity in the form of restricted stock units.
