Mid-Level Qlik Developer

Role Overview

The Mid-Level Qlik Developer supports enterprise reporting and analytics within a modernization project for defense agencies. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Qlik Sense and QlikView dashboards, reports, and visualizations to enhance operational visibility and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Qlik data models, ETL scripts, and data integration processes.
• Create interactive dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and executive reports.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, perform data validation, and ensure data quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, data, and performance issues.
• Participate in Agile development activities and document technical designs.
• Support modernization, testing, deployment, and system sustainment efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvements and automation opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related fields.
• 3–7 years in business intelligence, data analytics, or application development.
• 3+ years of hands-on Qlik Sense and/or QlikView experience.
• Proficiency with SQL, data modeling, and ETL development.
• Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile environments; U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance or recent DoD/federal government experience.
• Experience supporting defense finance, logistics, or modernization projects.
• Qlik certifications and familiarity with other BI tools.
• Knowledge of cloud analytics, DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices.
