Mid-Level Qlik Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Qlik Sense and/or QlikView dashboards, reports, and analytics applications supporting the DAAS DBX Modernization Project.
• Create interactive visualizations, scorecards, KPIs, and executive dashboards to support program objectives.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and external data sources.
• Perform data validation and ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, data, and performance issues.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Document technical designs, reporting specifications, and development processes.
• Support modernization efforts, system enhancements, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or application development
• 3+ years of hands-on Qlik Sense and/or QlikView development experience
• Strong experience with Qlik scripting, data modeling, and ETL development
• Proficiency with SQL and relational database technologies
• Experience integrating and transforming data from multiple sources
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain all required government system access

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance
• Current CAC with recent DoD or federal government experience
• Experience supporting Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), DAAS, ERP, logistics, or financial management systems
• Experience supporting modernization or digital transformation initiatives
• Qlik certifications (Qlik Sense Business Analyst, Data Architect, or Data Engineer)
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms
• Experience with cloud-hosted analytics environments
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience supporting government contracts and performance work statement (PWS)-driven environments
