About the role
RayTek is seeking a mid-level Project Controls Specialist to support a client in Oak Ridge, TN. This on-site role will apply project controls best practices across scope, schedule, cost, and change management to help ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support project controls functions across scope, schedule (time), cost, and change management for projects at ORNL
- Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using Oracle Primavera
- Track and process changes through established change control applications and processes
- Develop and maintain custom systems and reports to support project reporting and analysis needs
- Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to monitor project performance and identify variances
- Prepare accurate, timely reports and analyses for project stakeholders
Requirements
- BS/BA in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 3-8 years of relevant experience (an equivalent combination of education, experience, and specialized training will be considered)
- Basic understanding of project controls best practices related to scope, time, cost, and change management
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera, change control applications, and custom system/report development
Position requires on-site presence at ORNL in Knoxville, TN
