Mid-Level Project Architect

About the role

The ideal candidate is looking for advancement in their career and an opportunity to grow our established presence in the northeast region. This individual will execute project development from concept through construction while mentoring entry-level architects, leading project and client meetings, and developing technical design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute project development from concept through construction
• Mentor entry-level architects, directing them in design, production, and overall coordination of the design process and technical documents
• Lead project and client meetings with other design professionals for projects under contract
• Grow into a senior leadership role
• Develop and implement solutions with real results

Requirements

• Proven record of strong technical design and detailing skills for both interior and exterior aspects of new build and renovation projects
• Athorough understanding of architectural specifications, international building codes, life safety code, and ADA requirements
• Self-motivated and able to problem solve independently
• Licensed architect
• 6 – 14 years of working experience in a design firm with strong design, construction document, and construction administration experience
• Genuinely passionate about architecture
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, and thrive in a team environment
• Knowledge of design and construction programs like Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, Procore, SketchUp, etc.
• Able to travel occasionally
