About the Role
The Solution Architect is a mid-level technical leader responsible for designing and delivering scalable, mission-aligned solutions for Exigo's government and national security customers. This role bridges customer requirements, business objectives, and technical implementation by developing architectures that are innovative, practical, and aligned with enterprise standards. Working closely with program managers, engineers, and customer stakeholders, the Solution Architect translates complex needs into actionable system designs and ensures successful delivery across the full lifecycle—from concept through deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end technical solutions aligning with customer mission needs and Exigo capabilities
- Translate customer requirements into scalable architectures
- Collaborate with engineering teams to guide implementation
- Serve as a technical interface with customers
- Evaluate emerging technologies
- Ensure compliance with security and performance requirements
- Develop architecture artifacts and documentation
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies
- Promote best practices in Systems Engineering
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- 5--8 years of relevant experience
- Experience with complex system design within the DoD/DoW or space programs
- Strong understanding of architecture principles
- MBSE or architecture frameworks experience
- SparxEA or Cameo software tool experience
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Attention to detail is critical
- Currently cleared DoD Secret, but must be TS/SCI + SAP Eligible
Preferred Qualifications
- OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Language™ (SysML®) Professional (OCSMP) Level I or II
- INCOSE ASEP (Associate Systems Engineeri g Professional) or working toward CSEP (Certified Systems Engineering Professional)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Relevant MBSE certifications
- Cameo expert
