Mid-Level Maintenance Engineer - The Charter

About the Role

Put your maintenance skills to work at The Charter, located in the heart of Beaver Creek, surrounded by world-class mountain recreation. We're seeking a reliable, hands-on professional who takes pride in solving maintenance challenges, completing quality repairs, and helping keep the property operating at its best. This role is ideal for someone with maintenance or skilled-trade experience who is looking to expand their technical expertise in a resort hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs on building systems, guest accommodations, common areas, and resort facilities.
  • Inspect and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life-safety, and other building systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, diagnose problems, and complete repairs within your level of training while escalating more complex issues as needed.
  • Support renovations, equipment installations, preventive maintenance programs, and property improvement projects while partnering with senior engineers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records while keeping work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and safety-focused.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in facilities maintenance, hospitality engineering, commercial or multifamily maintenance, construction, or a skilled trade.
  • Working knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, pumps, hydronic heating, or general building repairs.
  • Experience troubleshooting building equipment and completing repairs safely using hand and power tools.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and provide excellent service to guests, residents, and team members.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without a specific end date.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $27-31/Hour
  • Schedule: 5 days per week, hours may vary based on business needs
  • Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round
  • Location: The Charter at Beaver Creek
  • Start Date: ASAP
