Maintenance Engineer -

Responsibilities

• Affix preventative maintenance tasks and compile report work orders, including replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, and more.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance assignments, such as "room care."
• Inspect and repair electrical systems like air conditioning controls, television sets, lighting systems, and perform minor repairs or replacements.
• Assist in routine and major repairs of hotel equipment, including small appliances, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, boilers, pool equipment, HVAC, hand and power tools, and plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Manage the hotel's pool by adjusting chemicals, cleaning filters, completing maintenance request forms, and maintaining log records.
• Maintain the building exterior and curb appeal through tasks like snow removal, lawn care, painting, and gardening.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms, including cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and counters.
• Paint and finish furniture and fixtures as necessary.
• Respond courteously to guests' inquiries, complaints, and requests to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Be exposed to extreme temperatures and operate heavy machinery.
• Comply with attendance rules and availability requirements.
• Perform additional job-related duties as directed.
