Mid-Level L&E Litigation Associate

About the Role

Baker McKenzie’s North America Employment & Compensation Practice Group provides clients with "one stop" domestic and international employment law counseling and litigation representation. We assist multinational companies with their international and domestic labor and employment issues, from expansion into or exit from new jurisdictions to deploying and managing a global workforce, to defending them in litigation in both state and federal court.

The position will encompass a diverse range of employment matters including litigation of multijurisdictional class and collective actions and high-stakes, complex disputes.

Responsibilities

• Litigate multijurisdictional class and collective actions
• Handle high-stakes, complex employment disputes
• Work in a fast-paced team environment with culturally diverse team members

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of employment litigation experience
• Strong academic credentials (e.g., Law Review)
• Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills
• Must be admitted and a member in good standing of the California or Illinois Bar

Qualifications

• Major top-tier law firm experience in an employment litigation practice is preferred
• A federal judicial clerkship is a plus
