Mid Level Industrial Security Specialist

About the role

The Mid-Level Industrial Security Specialist supports the protection of classified information developed by or entrusted to U.S. industry operating under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). They provide security support by managing and overseeing all activities related to the protection of classified information.

Responsibilities

• Provide Ship and Site Activation Team Security Support.
• Provide Security Role in Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM).
• Aid in DoD Industrial Security Requirements Compliance.
• Provide DD-254 Management Support.

Requirements

• Active TS Security Clearance.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant specialized security experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in the stated discipline or 6 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree, or
• Associate's Degree in the stated discipline or 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
• Industrial Security Oversight Certification (CDSE) must be acquired within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Site Activation or Bed down experience.
• SAPF/SCIF/SAR Standard Operating Procedure (Land, Sea, or Air).
• TSCM/TEMPEST Policy and or procedure.
• IDC 705 Build experience (CONUS and or OCONUS).
• IDC-705 Documentation experience.
• IDC 705 Accreditation experience.
• IDC-705 Cradle to grave project experience e.g., facility groundbreaking to completion of finish work.
• IDC-705 Design-Build-Sustainment experience.
• IDC-705 Design Review Process 35%, 65%, 95% experience.
• IDC-705 Certification from accredited institution.
