  • Assist in the execution of structured finance transactions, including warehouse facilities, asset-based lending, and securitization-related matters.
  • Work effectively within deal teams, coordinating with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to ensure seamless transaction closings.
  • Participate in client calls and meetings, providing support to senior team members and responding to client requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Actively participate in the firm’s training programs and take ownership of discrete workstreams to develop your skills toward senior-level responsibilities.
  • Monitor relevant regulatory and legislative changes and requirements.
  • Work with internal clients on special projects as requested.
  • Manage outside counsel and outside legal expenses.
  • Assist with third-party matters and ancillary litigation matters.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as an Attorney at a reputable law firm or financial institution.
  • Solid working knowledge of LSTA Trading and/or LMA syndicated loan documentation.
  • Exposure to Finance, Banking, or interest in structured finance (e.g., asset-backed facilities, CLOs, or complex collateral structures).
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing of NY State Bar.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented problem-solver with high work standards, excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills; and a high level of discretion, maturity, and ethical integrity.
  • Ability to work well both with a team and independently under limited supervision, and to prioritize, meet deadlines, and be flexible to adapt to changing organizational needs.
  • Willingness to work overtime as workload requires.
  • Large law firm or investment bank experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future. For this role, we cannot offer employment to F-1 (student) visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
