Mid-Level Embedded Developer

About the role

Visionist is seeking a Mid-Level Embedded Developer for a fully funded opportunity supporting a Prime contract award. The role involves reverse engineering and low-level development to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigations/solutions across various devices and software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, and modify embedded software
• Participate in code reviews and work as part of a larger team to develop embedded software products
• Create and maintain documentation on developed software and techniques
• Develop and maintain support software for interfacing with developed embedded software
• Conduct developer testing and integration testing for all developed software

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
• 10 years of experience in embedded development (8 years with a Master's degree)
• Experience with low-level programming on Windows, Linux, or real-time operating systems (i.e. VxWorks, uC/OS, etc.)
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with Polygraph
