Embedded Software Engineer (Mid-Level)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our advanced security systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient access control solutions using Brivo’s platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Brivo’s access control with Eagle Eye’s VMS for enhanced security features.
• Develop and maintain AI-driven algorithms to optimize security protocols and enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders on security-related matters.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to inform product development and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in security engineering or a similar field.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying AI-driven security solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IoT technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with Brivo’s platform and Eagle Eye’s VMS is a plus.
