Baker McKenzie's Dallas or Houston office seeks an associate attorney with 2-4 years of experience for the Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the firm’s securities litigation, SEC enforcement, class actions, product liability, and complex commercial litigation practices.
• Drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, briefing motions, and preparing for depositions.

Requirements

• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills.
• Experience with drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, briefing motions, and preparing for depositions.
• Larger law firm experience in a busy litigation practice, including experience taking and defending depositions and arguing motions.
• A former clerkship with a federal district court or circuit court judge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Admitted and a member in good standing of the Texas Bar.
