Mid Level Content Writer

About the role

Create parent-focused educational content and marketing copy. 50% blog/educational content, 50% marketing copy (campaigns, landing pages, emails, video scripts, product messaging). Work with SEO Strategist for direction; primary focus on writing, editing, research, and execution in a brand voice that is educational, empowering, and trustworthy.

What You’ll Do

• Blog, Educational Content & Publishing
• Write/revise blog articles on kids’ tech, online safety, digital communication, AI, screen time, etc.
• Create parent-friendly content from briefs and research.
• Use AI tools for drafting/outlining while maintaining human judgment and brand voice.
• Partner with SEO Strategist on keyword-informed articles and content refreshes.
• Conduct research for accuracy; review/revise existing content.
• Support blog workflows (Google Docs, WordPress, Asana).
• Collaborate with design/motion teams for graphics, videos, and repurpose content.
• Marketing Copy & Campaign Support
• Write copy for ads, campaigns, landing pages, product pages, app content, packaging, etc.
• Draft email copy, nurture flows, onboarding emails, lifecycle messaging.
• Use AI tools for speed/variation; ensure final copy is accurate and on-brand.
• Write video scripts, headlines, CTAs, and supporting messaging.
• Adapt messaging for different audiences/channels; partner with creative, growth, lifecycle, product, and compliance teams.
• Brand & FTC Compliance
• Ensure content meets FTC, legal, and brand guidelines.
• Flag copy needing compliance review; use AI responsibly.
• Include disclaimers and maintain responsible tone on sensitive topics.

• Ability to research and translate complex topics.

• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Proficient in Google Docs, WordPress, Asana.
