About the role
Holland & Knight is seeking a mid-level capital markets/M&A associate to join its Corporate M&A and Securities Practice.
Responsibilities
- Extensive experience representing issuers in public and private offerings of debt and equity securities.
- Interfacing with the SEC and other regulators.
- Counseling public companies on disclosure, corporate governance, and SEC and stock exchange reporting and compliance matters.
- Preparation of Exchange Act filings, such as Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and proxy statements.
- Additional experience with public and private company M&A is a strong plus.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience.
- JD from an ABA Accredited Law School.
- Must be licensed or ready to become licensed the state of Texas.
- This candidate must reside in the Dallas area at or prior to the time of hire.
- We believe that there is significant value in working together in person and will expect the candidate to work in the office at least three business days per week.
