Mid Day Dog Walker

About the role

We're a local, family-owned company built on compassion, trust, and our deep love for animals. We care for each pet like they're our own and we're looking for dedicated, animal-loving people who do the same.

Responsibilities

• Walk dogs through the charming streets of South Miami, Coral Gables, and Coconut Grove
• Care for cats, birds, bunnies, and other furry (and feathery!) friends in their homes
• Send updates and photos to pet parents so they can see how loved their pets are
• Provide vacation visits that include cuddles, meals, mail pick-up, and light home care

Requirements

• Start with around 10-15 hours per week, with room to grow your route to 25-30 hours weekly as you build relationships with our clients and pets!
• Mobile data reimbursement
• Paid training - learn the Equipaws way through our field training and shadowing
• Pet CPR & First Aid certification
• All supplies provided (uniforms, waste bags, treats, etc.)
• Room to grow - many of our sitters become team leads and coordinators!

• $15-$18 per hour (+ tips)

Who You Are

• Loves animals like family and treats them with patience, kindness, and care
• Is dependable, detail-oriented, and communicates well
• Enjoys spending time outdoors (yes, even in the Miami sunshine and surprise rain!)
• Has a reliable car, a smartphone with data, and can pass a background check

Schedule

Most visits happen between 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with some weekend and holiday pet-sitting opportunities, too.
