Primary Responsibilities
- Work within a government/contractor team environment providing Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production and Review
- Provide support to existing and developing mission areas
- Future needs and capabilities, as well as developmental assignments, are included
Future Needs and Capabilities
- Include Digital Nautical Chart and/or Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion production
- Perform Cartographic and GIS analyst functions
- Extract features from a variety of sources including but not limited to rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data, and ortho-rectified imagery
- Update source and source catalogs and information
- Perform Data Conversion/migration
Qualifications
- High School AND 5 years’ [relevant military or full time geospatial professional] experience, or High School and 4 years + GPC level I and II, or relevant BS degree + 2 years’ experience
- Experience in geography, cartography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) which includes skill in ArcGIS applications
- Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques and NGA digital data formats
- Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source information for application to NGA hydrographic products and databases

Benefits
Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00

This is a second shift 1500 to 2300 Monday through Friday position.
