About the Role

Bridge Defense is seeking a Cartographic Analyst for full-time salaried positions supporting an Intelligence Community partner. This is a pipeline/future needs position.

Responsibilities

The GIS / Cartographic Analyst - Journeyman will work within a government/contractor team environment providing Digital Nautical Chart and Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production and Review as well as provide support to existing and developing mission areas.

  • Digital Nautical Chart and Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production and Review
  • Support to existing and developing mission areas
  • Future needs and capabilities, as well as developmental assignments

Requirements

A total of 5 points of relevant background via one of the following pathways:

  • High School diploma and 5 years of relevant military or full-time geospatial professional experience
  • High School diploma and 4 years of experience plus GPC Level I and II certification
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience

Additionally, the candidate should have:

  • Experience in geography, cartography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with proficiency in ArcGIS applications
  • Knowledge of digital cartography, GIS production techniques, and other maritime digital data formats
  • Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source data for hydrographic products and databases
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to and apply IC analytic tradecraft standards
  • Excellent oral, writing, and coordination skills to communicate factual information clearly and concisely

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Nautical Maritime domains
  • BA degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience

Pay

The pay range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 per year.

Schedule

Depending on project requirements, may be required to work within a compressed schedule; overtime should be expected when schedules demand it.

Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.

Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
