As the Microsoft Technology Account Lead (MTAL), you will build trusted relationships with Accenture, Microsoft stakeholders, and clients while driving sales, revenue, delivery, and client satisfaction for Microsoft-focused deliverables. You will collaborate with Accenture Account Leadership to create and execute strategic growth plans for the Microsoft platform across one or more accounts within a client industry sector.
Accountabilities
- Account Management:
- Serve as a key Microsoft advisor and primary contact for clients and Accenture Account Leadership.
- Build and manage Microsoft relationships with client C-suite at priority accounts.
- Manage strategic client relationships personally or through a medium to large account team.
- Develop and implement relationship management plans for complex accounts to engage decision-makers.
- Consult with customer representatives to identify outcomes, analyze data, clarify mid- to long-term needs, and define requirements.
- Maintain relationships with partner organizations to ensure smooth integration and alliance execution.
- Account Leadership:
- Lead the development and implementation of a Microsoft strategy to realize and track business benefits.
- Champion a Microsoft AI and innovation stream within the Accenture account plan, ensuring resource allocation for execution.
- Selling:
- Act as a Trusted Advisor: Build credibility through deep Microsoft product knowledge and consulting expertise to expand Microsoft work.
- Lead Solution Configuration: Direct cross-functional teams to design tailored Microsoft solutions aligned with client strategy.
- Manage Bid Responses: Oversee pricing strategies, contract terms, and risk controls for RFPs, tenders, and bids.
- Drive Account Growth: Proactively identify opportunities to expand the customer’s Microsoft footprint.
- Develop and Execute Renewal Strategy: Craft renewal strategies tailored to customer type to ensure retention.
- Key Performance Indicators:
- Client Experience and thought leadership.
- Account Growth and Sales & Revenue Growth (AMBG and Avanade).
- Account-level CCI (Sold & Delivered).
- Personal Chargeability (30%).
- Support efforts to build customer satisfaction, loyalty, and commitment.
- Demonstrate big-picture thinking and commitment to maximizing outcomes for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of customer management and/or enterprise sales experience in the Products (CPG, Retail, Manufacturing, Travel) consulting industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing strategic client relationships and driving growth in a service-based sales environment.
- 7+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams in configuring and delivering complex Microsoft solutions.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack; foundational or higher-level Microsoft certifications strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in required Industry verticals, with the ability to articulate Microsoft’s differentiation story relative to major cloud providers.
Pay
- California: $175,000 - $200,000
- Cleveland: $150,000 - $170,000
- Colorado: $150,000 - $170,000
- District of Columbia: $170,000 - $190,000
- Illinois: $165,000 - $185,000
- Maryland: $170,000 - $190,000
- Massachusetts: $170,000 - $190,000
- Minnesota: $165,000 - $185,000
- New York / New Jersey: $175,000 - $200,000
