About the role

This Systems Administrator would need to be an expert in Microsoft Identity Management to support ongoing operations and maintenance, as well as a proactive approach to access governance as the Sponsor prepares to modernize the IAM landscape and transition to a next‑generation platform.

Responsibilities

Support ongoing operations and maintenance of Microsoft Identity Management; provide a proactive approach to access governance; assist in modernizing the IAM landscape and transitioning to a next‑generation platform.

Requirements

Must hold an FSP with a polygraph performed within the past six years; candidates without this will not be considered.

Skills

Required Skills:

• Experience with MIM architecture and operations, including MIM Synchronization Service, Metaverse design, Connector Spaces, Management Agents (MAs), MIM Portal, and sync rules.
• Experience performing routine OS patches and system upgrades.
• Experience performing database and application patching.
• Hands‑on experience configuring, implementing, and maintaining the Microsoft Identity Manager Workflow Activity Library (MIMWAL).
• Experience with Windows Server Infrastructure such as Active Directory, DNS, LDAP, and Group Policy.
• Experience providing Tier 2‑3 support to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve synchronization failures and user access issues escalated from the service desk.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server for data validation.
• Hands‑on experience scripting SQL queries.
• Hands‑on experience using PowerShell.
• Experience with C# and the .NET framework to read, debug, and occasionally modify rule extensions.
• Experience auditing, syncing, and cleaning identity data across disparate data tables to maintain data integrity, consistency, and flow.
• Experience implementing Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC).

Desired Skills:

• Experience administering Microsoft Exchange Subscription Edition and deep familiarity with the Windows OS framework.
• Experience with identity management tools such as MS Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), PowerSyncPro, SailPoint, or Saviynt.
• Ability to wear multiple hats while investigating and resolving critical infrastructure issues across MIM and MS Exchange.
• Experience with SQL, including advanced querying, optimization, and building databases.
• Experience with the client.
