Microsoft Exchange Administrator
This position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. We cannot accept C2C, 1099, or employment sponsorship (e.g., H1-B) for this position. The role is located in either Jacksonville, FL, Chandler, AZ, Jersey City/Pennington, NJ, Plano, TX, or Charlotte, NC to support a project in the Financial Services sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 12 months but may be extended. This role will be hybrid, with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.
About the Role
You are passionate about working for one of the largest Infrastructure with Exchange in the world. Exchange Operations is looking for a team-oriented person who can work without direction and is self-motivated. The candidate must have experience with DAG configurations with Exchange 2016 or higher in a large environment. Exchange Operations is responsible for keeping Exchange Sustainability at a 99.9% SLA. The role involves assisting with reviewing documentation, Remedy ticketing, implementing change controls, and interfacing with clients.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Exchange operationally, with monitoring utilizing SCOM and on-call availability and flexibility.
- Troubleshoot to root cause Exchange mail flow issues for multiple client environments.
- Take ownership of an initiative/issue through completion.
- Work in a collaborative environment via WebEx or Teams.
- Communicate effectively with LOB’s, clients, and tech-savvy stakeholders.
- Assist with internal efficiencies projects and development.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience with Exchange 2016 or higher servers.
- Current or recent hands-on experience with EXO or On-Premise Exchange.
- Experience with Multi-Node DAG’s across multiple data centers and clustering in a large Exchange environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and provide daily productive results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field, or commensurate experience.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Additional skills with AppViewX, BMC Remedy, Splunk, and Trend Micro are desired.
- Experience with Exchange Online / Microsoft 365 is desired.
