About the role

A Technical Architect will serve as the manager of complex technology implementations, with an eye toward constant reengineering and refactoring to ensure the simplest and most elegant system possible to accomplish the desired need. The role involves maximizing leverage of the open-source community to deploy systems on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providers, sharing knowledge across a multi-disciplinary team, and working within various methodologies. The Technical Architect will be a full partner in determining vision, objectives, and success criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Architect the overall system using prototyping and proof of concepts, including:
    • Modern programming languages (e.g., Ruby, Python, Node.js) and web frameworks (e.g., Django, Rails)
    • Modern front-end web programming techniques (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs) and frameworks (e.g., Twitter Bootstrap, jQuery)
    • Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and “NoSQL” databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB)
    • Automated configuration management (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt)
    • Continuous integration/deployment and continuous monitoring solutions
  • Use version control systems (e.g., Git and GitHub)
  • Ensure strategic alignment of technical design and architecture to meet business growth and direction, and stay on top of emerging technologies
  • Decompose business and system architecture to support clean-interface multi-team development
  • Develop product roadmaps, backlogs, and measurable success criteria
  • Write user stories and clearly communicate with stakeholders at every level
  • Develop JBOSS Messaging and connectivity with Spring-JMS
  • Design DB schema as per requirements and in sync with legacy systems
  • Implement daily and weekly jobs that interact with external interfaces
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements
  • Communicate with cross-divisional personnel at both team and executive levels to understand performance measurement methodologies
  • Direct team members in compiling business requirements and executing project milestones
  • Design system architecture, integration, data migration, security, and ALM strategies
  • Develop technical and functional design documents
  • Lead and oversee development teams, providing guidance and recommendations

Requirements

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in systems development, analysis, programming, or testing
  • 8+ years of experience designing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions
  • 8+ years of experience architecting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform services (Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • 8+ years of experience designing integrations using Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management)
  • 5+ years of experience with .NET/C# development and Visual Studio for Dynamics 365 extensibility
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server in data modeling, stored procedures, and reporting
  • 5+ years of experience leading solution design, technical documentation, and architecture governance
  • 3+ years of experience using Azure DevOps for ALM, CI/CD, and version control
  • 1+ year of experience with GitHub and repository management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field (additional qualifying experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis)
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solution architecture
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform
  • Strong understanding of .NET, Visual Studio, and extensibility frameworks for Dynamics 365
  • Solid experience with Azure integration (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and data modeling for Dynamics 365
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers, supervisors, and managers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

  • Hybrid (1 day per week onsite)
  • Candidate can choose the onsite day between Tuesday to Thursday
