Solution Architect – Microsoft Dynamics 365

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect - Microsoft Dynamics 365 to lead solution strategy, pre-sales architecture, and executive-level customer discussions. The ideal candidate will have strong D365 expertise, proven executive presence, experience working with C-level stakeholders, and the ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions.

Essential Functions

• Lead solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 opportunities and engagements.
• Engage with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and transformation goals.
• Drive solution strategy, deal shaping, pre-sales discussions, and client presentations.
• Partner with sales, account management, delivery, functional, and technical teams to develop practical D365 solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable solution approaches, roadmaps, and architecture recommendations.
• Support estimation, proposal inputs, implementation strategy, and account growth initiatives.
• Lead discovery sessions, solution workshops, and executive-level discussions.
• Provide architecture guidance across D365, integrations, business processes, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Bring best practices from retail, supply chain, commerce, order management, inventory, or related industries.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in solution architecture, consulting, enterprise applications, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 programs
• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Proven experience working directly with C-level executives and senior leadership stakeholders
• Strong executive presence with the ability to lead strategic discussions, influence decision-makers, and represent the organization with senior leadership
• Experience in pre-sales architecture, solution consulting, deal shaping, or pursuit support
• Strong understanding of D365 implementation lifecycle, integrations, enterprise architecture, and business process alignment
• Experience with retail, supply chain, commerce, order management, inventory, or related business processes
• Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work onsite in New Hampshire or travel 50–75% as needed
