Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to manage and secure Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows environments, and enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will support endpoint management, user onboarding, security compliance, troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure projects while ensuring a secure and reliable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, and user management).
• Manage Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, application deployment, compliance, and endpoint management.
• Maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, NTFS permissions, DFS, and authentication services.
• Support Microsoft Defender, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and compliance (NIST/CMMC).
• Troubleshoot Windows Server, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, network, and authentication issues.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell.
• Deploy and configure workstations, security baselines, and software updates.
• Install and maintain network cabling, switches, wireless access points, cameras, access control, and alarm systems.
• Provide end-user technical support and manage onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Document configurations, troubleshooting, and project work within the ticketing system.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades and IT projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure, desktop, and network environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Active Directory, Windows Server, Windows 11, and Microsoft Defender.
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, wireless networking, and switches.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with NIST/CMMC security frameworks and compliance best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified (Azure/Microsoft 365/Modern Workplace)
• CCNA or CCNP
• CompTIA Network+ and A+
