Microbulk Driver

About the role

We are hiring a Microbulk Driver in Gilbert, IL to support our bulk cryo logistics operations. The position involves contributing to roughly 15 – 20 deliveries of CO2 products and related supplies to established customers along assigned routes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roughly 15 – 20 deliveries of CO2 products and related supplies to established customers along assigned routes
• Support the transfer of product from the Airgas truck to the customer tank through hose hook up
• Support the safety of our fleet by reviewing vehicles before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklists
• Support the loading of Microbulk tanks and filling customer-owned Microbulk tanks as assigned
• Partner with field service technicians with CO2 tank installations & repair work to support our shared goals
• Collaborate to maintain DOT, SAFECOR, and Airgas vehicle documents, helping our team stay accurate and compliant
• Nurture the safe working order of the route truck and ensure that routine and required maintenance occurs on a timely basis

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker & Airbrake endorsements
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
• Able to work in a drug-free environment
• Able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
• One (1) year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months

Pay

$27/Hr. A stable 10-hour daily routine, 4 days a week, contributing to our team's success from Thursday through Sunday with early morning starts at 2 AM to support our regional flow.

Schedule

This schedule offers a consistent rhythm with three consecutive days to recharge and enjoy personal time. Support our partners in Lake Geneva, DOWNTOWN CHICAGO, Jolliet, Rock Falls and everything in between Occasional scheduled overnight stays to support regional operations Schedule: 3am start time working Sunday-Thursday with occasional Friday and Saturday support to help our team and customers.
