Microbulk Driver

About the role

We are hiring a Microbulk Driver (CDL B) in Elk Grove Village, IL and Aurora, IL - Jericho, and Gilberts, IL - Bulk cryo logistics - AMG. The role involves safe transportation, loading, and unloading of compressed gas cylinders, managing warehouse equipment, and adhering to hazardous material safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and load/unload compressed gas cylinders between locations.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Record all deliveries and pick-ups on load manifests and obtain customer signatures.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and perform vehicle safety inspections.
• Manage customer relations and address service inquiries and complaints.
• Assist with route evaluations and data management using On-Board Computers.
• Support dock operations as needed, including lifting up to 75 pounds.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class B or better CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
• At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.
• DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required.
• Ability to lift 25 – 75 lbs, and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs with the use of equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
• Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace.
• Adherence to safety regulations and policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Touch freight delivery experience preferred.

Pay

The hourly pay rate is $31 per hour, Monday - Friday, day shift. Additional bonuses include Safety Driver Bonus (paid quarterly) and Gainshare Bonus (paid quarterly).
