Position Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of GLP’s and aseptic techniques
- Executing laboratory testing according standard procedures
- Receiving, labeling, preparation, and analyzing samples
- Preparation involves composite preparation, the ability for precision pipetting, and 3M petrifilm plating
- Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment
- Working with multiple departments to ensure quality and food safety
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment to meet established deadlines
- Ability to work with various cleaning chemicals
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to possess a strong attendance record
- Ability to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Food processing experience including product quality and/or food safety programs
- PCQI for Human Food Certification
- HACCP Certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Suites specifically Microsoft Word and Excel

Schedule
Seasonal Day Shift – availability required for overtime, some holidays and weekends. Starts seasonal with potential for post season employment.
