Microbiology Lab Technician (Days) Pasco, WA

Key Responsibilities

• Collections and prepares product samples for microbiological analysis.
• Documents sample ID and microorganism growth results.
• Promptly communicates findings that fall outside allowable limits.
• Responsible for inventory of micro lab supplies.
• Stores and maintains retention samples.
• Reconciliation of daily micro log with the inventory system to ensure all production samples are plated.
• Manage positive release of product in inventory system.
• Samples purchased products (micro-testing and grading).

Requirements

• Basic math skills
• Good knowledge of computer systems and calculator
• Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments
• Good communication skills
• Needs to be organized, efficient, and have Good time man

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1+ years related experience and/or training
