About the role
Join a growing microbiology team supporting dietary supplement testing. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on laboratory experience, learn industry-standard testing methods, and develop new technical skills through structured training.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine microbiology testing on dietary supplement samples.
- Prepare samples and media for laboratory analysis.
- Conduct plating, dilution, and microbial testing following established procedures.
- Use pipettes and laboratory equipment to process samples.
- Document testing results and maintain accurate records.
- Follow laboratory safety guidelines and aseptic techniques.
- Work with team members to meet testing deadlines.
What You'll Learn
- USP microbiology testing methods
- Pathogen testing (E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria)
- Microbial enumeration and plate count techniques
- Aseptic techniques and contamination control
- PCR and ELISA methodologies
- Probiotic testing and flow cytometry
- Working with proprietary blends and specialized sample types
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related Life Science field.
- Laboratory experience through coursework, research, or internships.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a laboratory career.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
