About the role

The role is based in Madison, Wisconsin and is part of a creative, agile team focused on delivering sustainable innovations that enhance everyday products.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to quality systems such as ISO 22000, NSF, and GLP guidelines.
  • Perform routine laboratory testing with accurate and timely documentation in SAP Quality Management.
  • Utilize laboratory standards, materials, and documentation to support testing procedures.
  • Follow departmental procedures to calibrate, maintain, and use laboratory equipment.
  • Apply GMP for proper care, handling, and storage of food and dietary supplement products.
  • Conduct environmental sampling according to established protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment by enforcing safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team on cross-functional quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field, or an associate degree with at least one year of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Knowledge of analytical methods and testing within the Quality Control (QC) department.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Strong mathematical skills and clear communication abilities.
  • Compliance with laboratory safety standards and use of PPE.
  • Comfortable working in a laboratory setting up to 100% of the time.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field, or an associate degree with at least one year of relevant laboratory experience.
  • One year of relevant laboratory experience.

Skills

  • Knowledge of analytical methods and testing performed within the Quality Control (QC) department.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
